One of the most exciting times in a guys life is popping the question and proposing to a girl. It’s something that you only do once (well….sometimes more than that nowadays 
and it’s a moment girls will never forget. Let’s go over a couple of the steps in proposing to that special somone:
First things first, you’re gonna need an engagement ring. Don’t let this stress you out! If you’re on a budget, it’s completely possible to find cheap engagement rings when you know what to look for. Don’t automatically shell out the amount you see on the pricetag – do a little research and you will find how to stretch your dollar big time. Diamond engagement rings are a big investment and this will probably be one of the biggest purchases in your life.
Make sure to read up on diamonds and how they are graded. There’s a lot of different quality measurements that go into pricing a diamond so it’s important that you know what they are. As an example, one of the categories that is used to grade a diamond is what is known as “clarity”. This refers to the number of inclusions are present in the diamond (inclusions are little specks or imperfections). However, many of these inclusions are impossible to see with the naked eye – you would only ever see them under a microscope. You are actually better off to buy a diamond that doesn’t have perfect clarity, otherwise you will spend thousands more for a difference that you or your fiance will never be able to see.
